Rick Hoagland Earns Certified in Financial Forensics Credential
September 24, 2008 - Rick Hoagland, CPA has been awarded the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).  Mr. Hoagland becomes one of the first CPAs in South Florida to earn the CFF credential, which was established by the AICPA to recognize CPAs with training and experience in the application of accounting skills in the area of financial forensics.  CPA practitioners apply financial forensics in a variety of service areas, including bankruptcy and insolvency; computer forensics; economic damages; family law; fraud investigations; litigation support; stakeholder disputes and valuations.  The CFF credential is granted exclusively to CPAs who are members in good standing of the AICPA which binds them to the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct, and have demonstrated significant experience and continuing education in the area of financial forensics.

Rick is also Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, is designated as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and is designated as a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.  Each of these credentials is based on a combination of significant training, hands-on experience and a rigorous examination process.
